Ginger Syrup
Ginger Syrup
3/4 inch piece ginger root, peeled
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 oz Lemon Juice
dash of salt
Cut the ginger into small thin round slice
Then dice each thin slice into quarters
Add all ingredients to small pan
Bring to a slow simmering boil making sure the sugar is completely dissolved
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain out the solids (the ginger)
Store refrigerated in a glass container
