Once again the folks at Vines Riverbend Wine Merchants have teamed up with the Alberta Division of the MS Society to bring you Edmonton’s Premier Whisky Festival. This is a unique chance to taste whiskies from around the world and to meet and discuss the noble spirit with industry and distillery representatives. Monies raised at the event will help those affected by MS in our community, as well as help to fund research towards a cure.

Where: Edmonton Delta South Hotel

When: Wednesday, January 13, 2016 (7:00 – 10:00pm)

Ticket Price: $85.00 each (purchase online here)

The 2016 Edmonton Whisky Festival is a must for any whisky enthusiast and for those new to the exciting world of whisky. The price of your ticket includes entrance, whisky sampling, and the annual commemorative Edmonton Whisky Festival Glencairn Whisky Glass (see photo).

Please attend and enjoy yourself chatting in a relaxed atmosphere with whisky and scotch principals and enthusiasts from across Canada and around the world (The Rum Howler will be their too).

Master Classes

The always popular whisky Master Classes are brought to you by some of the whisky world’s most prominent luminaries. They begin at 6:30pm (and cost an additional $25 on top of your Festival ticket cost).

The Adelphi Masterclass with Alex Bruce
The Bruichladdich Masterclass with Reed Pettit
The Springbank Masterclass with Ronald Watson

The folks at Vines Riverbend Wine Merchants (who have produced the very successful Edmonton Whisky Festival for the past 5 years) have teamed up with the Alberta Division of the MS Society to bring you another premium spirits festival, the 1st Annual Edmonton Rum Festival. This is a unique chance to taste rums produced from around the world and to meet and discuss the noble spirit with industry and distillery representatives.

Monies raised at the event will help those affected by MS in our community, as well as help to fund research towards a cure.

When: Friday, September 25, 2015 (Today)

From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The Edmonton Rum Festival is a must for any rum enthusiast or for those new to this exceptional spirit. The price of a ticket includes entrance and rum sampling (you do not have to buy drink tickets)

Celebrate World Whisky Month

World Whisky Month

World Whisky Month is being celebrated on November 12th and on November 13th at both Edmonton Wine and Beyond locations.

On November 12th, at 6:00 PM, the Windermere store location will be closed to the public and regular event ticket buyers will have the chance (beginning at 7:00 PM) to sample a selection of over 130 different whiskies representing 53 separate distilleries.

VIP Event Tickets provide access to a premium tasting event which begins at 6:00 PM with a selection that is truly spectacular. Spirits such as the Genfarclas 40 Year old, and The Macallan Ruby are just 2 of 24 special premium which will be available to VIP Event ticket holders.

On November 13, at 6:00 PM the event moves to the Emerald Hills store location.

Celebrate – World Whisky Month

Wednesday November 12 Windermere 7:00 to 10:00 Pm
Thursday November 13 Emerald Hills 7:00 to 10:00 Pm

Premium VIP tastings for both events to begin at 6:00
