Pegu Club SAM_2460

The Pegu Club Cocktail originated at the Pegu Club, located just outside Rangoon, (Burma). The club was named for the Pegu, a nearby Burmese river. The recipe appears in the Savoy Cocktail Book of 1930 by Harry Craddock, and the 1930 edition of Cocktails by “Jimmy” late of Ciro’s London.” (source Wikipedia)

3/4 oz Cointreau
1 tsp Lime Juice
Dash Bitters (Angostura Bitters)
ice
Strip of Lime Zest for garnish

Pour the ingredients into a metal shaker filled with ice
