The Rough Rider

A nice recipe for Last Mountain Distillery’s Single Cask Rye Whisky! The name is an homage to the Saskatchewan Football Team the Roughriders who sadly missed their entire football season (as did the entire CFL) due to the 2020 virus outbreak.

The Rough Rider

2 oz Rye Whiskey (Last Mountain Single Cask Rye Whisky)
1/2 oz Orange Liqueur (Bols Triple Sec)
1/3 oz Grapefruit Juice
1/3 oz Lemon Juice
2 dashes of Bitters (Angostura Cocktail Bitters)
dash Sugar Syrup
Ice

Add the ingredients into a metal shaker with plenty of ice
Shake until the outside of the shaker begins to frost
Strain into a cocktail glass
