Vodka Martini (Dry with cucumber and lime)

Dry Vodka Martini SAM_1606For this Vodka Martini recipe, I have chosen to use a 1:6 ratio of Vermouth to Vodka as the base of the construction. This ratio should not be considered ‘carved in stone’ rather I encourage everyone to find their own personal sweet spot of flavour and dryness which works best for them.

I have also chosen to use a dual garnish of Lime and Cucumber as the tart spiciness of lime will enhance the ‘dryness’ of the martini, and the cucumber adds a complimentary flavour which works well with both the lime zest and the chosen vodka.

Vodka Martini (Dry with lime and cucumber)

3 oz Belvedere Unfiltered Vodka
1/2 oz Stock Vermouth
ice
thin slice of cucumber
thin curl of lime peel

Add the Vodka and the Vermouth into a metal shaker with ice
Shake until the sides of the shaker are frosted
Double Strain into a chilled martini glass
Add a thin slice of cucumber and a curl of lime peel

Please Enjoy responsibly!
